|  Nuseed provides proprietary genetics research, plant breeding and seed production services for sunflower customers around the world. We work with customers to license joint or wholly-developed oilseed and confectionery sunflower hybrids.
Nuseed acquired the confectionery and oilseed assets of Flower Genetics, LLC in 2010, which allows us to maintain the leadership role in genetic research, breeding and production established by Flower Genetics while leveraging our global resources to better serve customers.

Our People
| Our confection sunflower products were founded by Dr. Tom Heaton who has been working in sunflower research for more than 35 years in all sunflower growing areas of the world.
For the last 19 years, Dr. Heaton has led the research efforts developing numerous sunflower inbreds and commercial hybrids. Five full time employees assist in all aspects of research and seed production.
