SD Sunflower Yields Expected Higher Than Past Years

Sunflower yields in South Dakota this season are expected to be higher than the past several years,  according to Ray Wellman, Operations Supervisor for Wheat Growers. This year he expects producers to see yields reaching 3,000 pounds per acre compared to historical average of 2,000 pounds per acre.
